Gemma Milne, who is a freelance science and tech writer has only gone and got a book deal! Gemma will be spending the next 7 months investigating the wonderful world of the scientific moonshots, and the effects that hype and idealism have in swaying the course of humanity's progress. Its working title is 'Science Friction', and the folks at Robinson - the quirky non-fiction imprint of Little, Brown - have bought the rights to publish it. It will be out in Spring 2020. We can't wait!
